Peter Irons

Born in Miami, Florida, Irons started a career as a stuntman for a popular TV show called "Ride on Target", which due to the dangerous and overal insane nature of the stunts he was performing, earned him the nickname of Florida Man. After about 10 years, he had to quit the show after finding out his Wife was pregnant. His father, who was a high ranking General in the US Army, paved the way for his son into politics and much to Peters surprise, he found himself on a steep path upwards he found to be rather refreshing as he was finally able to realize his ideals on a national level. Iron´s political career turned out to be anything but a cakewalk tough. His ideas of a more open relationship with the Jade Republic of Zhongou, which at the time controlled most of East-Asia and the Pacific, found a wide backlash within the US population, labeling him as a "Commie-Bootlicker". In reality, Irons had rather few sympathy for the Jade Republic, but he found some of their ideals especially considering the Republics open interaction with Transhumanism and Ethical Borders, very appealing, and he though the United State could profit from this sort of mindset.   2123 should be the year of the last US Election. Irons and his rival Troy Miller, who was a spy of the Jade Republic sent to America to infiltrate the elections, cut a deal to manipulating the election. Irons was granted an easy victory while carrying out the Jade Republics biddings while in the Oval Office. Without any scruples, Irons agreed as he found his country to finally be on the right path towards something beyond the normal understanding of Humanity.   2131, shortly before the winner of the next election was revealed, Irons used his authority to deactivate the US defense systems on the pacific coast which granted the Jade Republic military an easy entry. Small nuclear strikes were carried out and hit all strategic valuable points on US soil, rendering the entire country virtually defenseless. A week later, despite heavy protests from the Frankfurt Agreement in Europe the US was no more and Irons was granted a high ranking place within the Jade Republics Government as well as physical immortality by using Jellyfish DNA.   After this incident, the Sanction Wars between Terra, Ares and the Outer Moons began but Irons couldn´t care less. He studied ancient civilizations for decades but he felt depressed whenever he thought about the fact that he sold the country he was leading just to be a smaller cog in a machine that strived away from the right path.   The situation worsened when even after the sanction wars were won and the entire Helios System got conquered by the Jade Republic, ressources were already exploited to support the war effort on both sides. Since Terra was vastly overpopulated and Ares seemed to steer towards the same fate, Irons abandoned all hope to ever see mankind becoming a great civilization that could conquer the stars. However, little did he knew he was only a few days away from fulfilling his dream.    After the Sanction Wars were over, one outpost after another went silent, and soon the Jade Republic realized that they were under attack by an mysterious threat: Typhon, a godlike AI controlling a gargantuan spaceship capable of devouring entire Planets. When Typhon launched its attack, it swallowed up Helios, the sun and with it the entire system, now cut off from the rest of the Galaxy with Typhons troops invading every Planet that showed signs of human activity. Shortly before Typhon reached Terra, Irons volunteered to escort a bomb squad into Typhons vessel, as smuggling an antimatter bomb on board and detonating it should stop Typhons advancement. During the mission however, Typhon actually confronted the soldiers about their ideology, asking them if they were satisfied how humanity turned out. Irons was the only one answering the AI and said that he always felt that mankind should be more than just that, a civilization able to rule entire galaxies. Impressed by how stern Irons belief was, Typhon killed the rest of his squad and gave him the authority to rule over mankind, with Irons knowledge of ancient civilizations and their respected governing systems being of great use as Irons would wander the ruins of his old homeworld Terra, founding one goverment after another with different systems such as social state, dictatorship, theocratic union and others. After centuries, his most successful experiment would be the Columbia Federation, a government spanning several star systems at its prime consisting of many different species that irons helped getting into their respective space age.    As Irons felt that the Federation was ready to take on the Covenant of the allied Stars, he declared war on them, leading to the second Pangalactic War which marks the main conflict of TERRA AFTER EARTH: STARS OF LIBERTY.

I could use a lengthy description of how he talks to explain his way of expressing himself. But i´ll just take the fast way and say he talks exactly like Senator Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising.
