Himiko Suzunari

-Cronomorphosis: As a Cronomorph, Himiko gained several new abilities like self regeneration, higher durability and super strength. Since the morphing of her own cells proved to be too exhausting for her new body, she still uses regular firearms and melee weapons but can fuse them with her body instead, turning her into a living ammunition depot.

-Kemono no Ha: Her fathers Katana, which she used to commit Seppuku. As she fused it with her own body now, she can summon the sword at any time and even reinforce the material with her bodies own red matter.   -Steinhauser 12A "Izanami & Izanagi": A pair of light machine pistols she weilds. Since she uses her own blood as ammunition, she can fire bullets as long her her regenerative abilities can keep up.

Himiko was born as the daughter of Hideo Suzunari, a genious scientist who made cybernetic enhancements possible for military use, giving soldiers like Lyra Sanchez a chance to effectively fight the Star Spawn. Due to the strong prejudice against the Asian Community following the sanction wars and the annexion of Terra at the hands of the Jade Republic, her family had often been a victim of racial discrimination, despite her fathers achievements.    Because Himiko shouldn´t suffer the same issue, her father kept pressuring her into becoming a top student so she could one day contribute to society and change the way asians are perceived in the United Colonies. However, it was never easy for her not only because the constant pressure made her lose focus about her future but because she was born without a retina, making her blind. Since she couldn´t even perceive light, she was suffering from a lack of sleep and was relying on medication from her early childhood on.    Much to her parents dismay, Himiko was sent to a school for children with physical disabilities as she didn´t perform well at a normal school. There she would meet her future boyfriend Samuel Sanchez, who was also sent to the school as he was a Cronomorph unaware of the dangers his powers could pose. He and Himiko became friends and later on even lovers, as the two realized that they catched feelings for eachother. While Himiko helped Sam to get over his obesity by forcing him to do sports, Sam helped her by building up more courage and to overcome her general shyness.    Her new found self-consciousness would soon be tested however, as her parents demanded a clearer path for her future career. Himiko initially chose to become a cybernetic engineer like her father, but was struggling with the subject as she simply couldn´t get into it and was afraid to settle for a different profession, forcing herself to continue her studies. She eventually developed a severe case of depression as her parents pressure on her grew. In addition to that, her paranoia of not being good enough for her boyfriend was also contributing to her deteriorating mental state.    In 3455, Himiko discovered that she was pregnant at 19 years of age, something that would only complicate things at the time. In a panic attack while also having refused to take her medication for weeks, she chose to commit suicide using an old japanese ritual to restore her families honor, or so she thought.    A few months after her suicide attempt, Himiko awakes in a secret military facility on planet Gyra, where she was greeted by a strange old man who introduced himself as her new boss. The man, Robert Langley, explained that Himiko probably infected herself with red matter following the intimate physical contact she had with Samuel, turning her into a Cronomorph. However, she didn´t immediately turn as she was suffering a rare case of Postponed Death Effect, a phenomenon where the metamorphosis is only activated when a person dies. As Himiko was officially dead, she didn´t exist anymore, making her the perfect candidate for Robert Langleys new project: The Murdered Crows, an elite military spec ops unit conducting unofficial operations across the galaxy.    It was a hard time for the young woman, as she had to adjust to many new things in her life. Langleys forced recruitment as well as the restoring of her vision which ironically complicated things for Himiko as she was used to being unable to see. Since she wasn´t kleft with a choice regarding her recruitment, Himiko accepted her fate and began training along with her new Team, awaiting further orders by Langley.
