Filled with phenomenon; Whales that cause earthquakes, Lakes that reach into the sky, A land of Darkness so black that only "the Raven's eyes" are visible. Var Nexa is a land of mystery.
Ruled by Calamities, beasts that craft the world, that have hounded humanity throughout their existence and linked to multiple calamitous events throughout history, Var Nexa would be a death sentence to humanity.
However humanity has one advantage. The Calamities are restricted to Var Nexa, dfor reasons not yet known, giving them a smidgen of survival on the Outer Plateaus; a ring of land high above, and surrounding, Var Nexa
The main focus is Terminus, the nation West of Var Nexa. Primarily a technological power house, most famous for engineering the Steam Engine train system. This connected and unified the city states during the war with the at the time expansive area to the south.
In recent times, these engines have allowed access into Var Nexa on the naturally occurring railway lines that span the area.
This has allowed the formation of Seeker Teams, groups of individuals looking to explore Var Nexa to find its secrets, obtain wealth, and write their names in history.
