This campaign setting is set in a high fantasy setting, where magic is an everyday part of life, full of experimentation and study.

The world of Terastoria is a seemingly young world according to the historical records across cultures, as the story takes place in 994 OR (on record). Most but the hardiest and oldest civilizations are small and burgeoning over the several generations that have lasted, as well as the oldest elves who have lived as long as the world has. However despite this, there are odd signs all around that show that the age of the world may not be what it seems, and that perhaps there is still something to be gleaned about the world from the ancient ruins and dungeons that dot the landscape.

In a world where the Gods used to be a common and present fixture in culture but have since mysteriously vanished, their holds on the Material Plane seem to lessen and lessen each day, allowing evil to seep through the very pores of the earth, seeking to twist the land to it’s shadowy influence. Cults whisper of the returns of the Shades and their weapons of war, and mysterious creatures of flesh and metal threaten human settlements. Creatures from the Underdark bleed through wounds in the earth, disrupting local ecosystems. And a terrible monstrosity walks the land, killing all life it touches.

On Midah, an great island sized continent in the Soulwell Sea, individuals from all walks of life, from all points on the compass, are chosen by fate and converge at the right time and in the right place, not knowing that the clock is ticking.
