Elves
Elves are known for their dignified and graceful lifestyles. They live secluded in small forest villages, often with very few knowing the location of their homes. When one might leave home without explicit approval from the priest or priestess, they aren't welcomed back, simply due to the risk they might be putting unto the village through their leave of absence. Elves are thusly rare outside of their villages. In many towns and villages, elves are known only by legend, and are known to be incredibly noble, where many would bow down to one due to race alone.
Elves live very strict lives, bound by the rules of their villages. They schedule much of their time in detail to the minute, and are very defensive of their lifestyles. Should a person happen upon an elf anywhere near their homestead, they would be likely to attack simply in order to defend their home. Their use of their innate magic and long lives has lead to the slow, yet ever-present growth and revival of their race since the Elven Wars. Additionally, they are known to be strong wielders of swords, and have developed a specific style of fighting known as bladesinging, combining magic and melee combat.
Dark Elves, more commonly known as Drow, are an unfortunate remnant of the Elven Wars. The humans imprisoned elves underground, unaware of the magical prowess of the Elven race. Elves escaped, running away from their captors through underground tunnels and caverns. They hid there for the rest of their lives, terrified of what may have transpired on the surface. Drow are less likely to be dignified, and are more likely to be aggressive due to their long-held history with humans.
Eladrin Elves are immensely rare in Tempor'Il. When they do appear, it is likely due to the High Moon forcing the Feywild and Material Planes to juxtapose one another. Eladrins do not have a society in the Material Plane, and tend to drift around. In the Feywild, Eladrins are the most common of beings there, much like humans are in Tempor'Il. They act very similarly to how humans are in Tempor'Il, due to them not experiencing the Elven Wars, or any type of interaction with other races.
Sea Elves are reserved to the oceans, originating from an island tribe of Elves in Tempor'Il that adapted to live underwater after their island sunk into the ocean. They are said to have lived underwater for centuries, before finding access into the Elemental Plane of Water. They now live in a civilization near the portal, expanding through each plane, material and elemental.
Shadar Kai are Shadow Elves, connected deeply to the Raven Queen. An elite group of warriors during the Elven Wars, the Shadar Kai were imprisoned during the High Moon. One night, they disappeared from their cells, unknown to any how they escaped. That night, they swore their allegiance to the Raven Queen, being brought to the Shadowfell. Their bodies are deformed into strange, almost distinctly not elven bodies.
Some Elves even carry blessings in the forms of marks upon their skin. These marks are bestowed unto a person via a dragon's blessing, given only to those who they value greatly. They are also passed hereditarily, and grant power to any who wield and can control them. Some, however, are unable to, leading to horrific consequences for themselves and the people around them.
