Strang
Strang sits on the Western banks of the Felrock River. This new and developing city is supported by the nearby Ignatz Quarry and the farms of the Wildsmile family. This patronage also fosters a deep rivalry within this city.
Districts
The Crossroads
The literal and figurative center of town where the new Praetor's mansion, home to Praetor Elvar Lyngbye, remains under construction. Anything that happens in this city must pass through the Crossroads. Beside the Praetor's Mansion, the Sheriff's Office is the home base of Sheriff Roland 'Pistol' Patrick and his constables known as the Black Masks. The Black Masks maintain the peace in the city but only just. The Onyx Rose is one of -- if not the -- largest buildings in Strang. Many of the city's day laborers take up residence within its brick walls thanks to its central location.Demon's Borough
Oruun Ignatz, the patron of the Ignatz clan, is a massive hulk of an orc. His overgrown fangs resemble tusks rather than teeth. His cracked black brow etched with spiky ridges. He is often referred to as the Demon, and this is his neighborhood in the Southeast of the city. His clan of orcs work and run the Ignatz Quarry to the east and maintain a stone compound. The Cathedral of Songs is a beautiful structure of multi-colored wood from all over the world and stained glass. While all gods are honored in the cathedral, Qitzotl is the Patron of the Cathedral. Many musicians try to make a name for themselves within the various music halls that surround the Cathedral of Songs.Fell Ward
The Fell Ward is home to the Wildsmile Estate and its cohorts of wealthy landowners. The Wildsmile Estate is a beautiful structure of ornate ebon wood. The Wildsmile family own much of the outlying farms to the north. Near the Wildsmile Estate, a small park surrounds the Statue of Lua, a crystal statue that glows brilliantly under the light of the full moon. Closer to the Market, the long forgotten Thalas Keep lays in ruins -- largely a mass of shattered, moss-covered stone. Rumors of an underground structure and its hidden treasures abound among the city's residents. If the dungeon truly exists, none have found its entrance... or perhaps none have survived to share its location.
