Once of a proud race of birdfolk, Corvis Kritach watched his entire kin annihilated by an enigmatic force no scholar has yet named. The devastation shattered him — not only his people, but his mind. What remained was a man perched between grief and genius, whose despair transformed into obsession. From the ashes of loss, Corvis devoted himself to the pursuit of medicine. Where others sought revenge, he sought understanding — and through understanding, healing. Though his mind is fractured, his hands remain steady, and his brilliance in surgery, anatomy, and alchemy is without rival. His methods, however, are… unconventional. Some call them grotesque, others inspired. He mends shattered bones with living grafts, weaves sinew with threads no sane physician would touch, and uses tinctures whose recipes exist only in his haunted mind. Many whisper that his eccentricity is his curse. Yet it is also his gift — for he has saved lives no other healer could. To patients, he is both miracle and nightmare. To scholars, a heretic of science. To himself, he is simply what remains — a healer standing on the edge of madness, wings forever shadowed by the memory of those who fell before him.
