  After the economic ruin wrought by the rebellion destruction of the Flood of 88 causes a mass exodus from the region. Those who stay move long-term development onto the local skylands for practical reasons.
  The vacuum caused by the wyrm's abandonment of the area is filled by the a tiny startup out of Stonegate who start with some land claims, a good work ethic, a give-em-hell attitude, and the gumption to build this far North; Cruikshanks, Gobha & Ceàrd, a trio of dwarfs who, having inherited several land claims to the local floating islands from the area's once-resident dragon, proposed the design and building of an ultra-modern aerodrome in the location to open access to the North.
  Following his untimely demise in 989, Cruickshanks' will stated that his third of the company be given to the workers in perpetuity, an unexpected and baffling gift, and a stroke of genius.... by ensuring the workers have a voice in the operations of the company, Cruikshanks secured a lucrative future for Gobha & Ceàrd.
