The Calcic Order
The Calcic Order is devoted to the worship of the ancient necromancer, known as The Forgotten, who first began the spread of the Lifeless Wastes throughout the western side of Markamest. Many undead secretly worship The Forgotten and in some areas of Belua, they are publicly venerated. The Forgotten claims death and resurrection as their domains. The Forgotten appears in dreams and visions as a titanic headless and eviscerated corpse laying underwater on a jagged outcropping of submerged stone spikes, leaking blood into the murky, dark surrounding waters. The form of The Forgotten does not move, but followers hear their rumbling voice in the unfocused parts of their minds, softly urging them forward, to take full advantage of their time on this plane. The Forgotten promises undeath instead of afterlife to its followers.
The Calcic Order is led by the Palatine, who speaks the Forgotten's will, the Malleus, who hears most clearly the Forgotten's whispers, and the Metacarpal, who strikes the enemies of the Forgotten down, that they may rise again as friends.
