Tayrona The Nation of Aladale

Anadale is a deeply troubled nation. Headed by the Church of Gruful, birthed from the loss of the nation's previous goddess Andalos and steeped in the hatred of the Demon's that captured the her. Its burgeoning steam powered wonders are powered by its infamous witch hunts, the tears left by Andalos, and the backs of the surfs that make a majority of its population. With the Church largely occupied with the elven armies constantly harassing Anadale's northern border, and mechanical troupes infiltrating from the east, much of the nation has been left in the hands of the local lords, allowing intrigue, corruption, and monstrous threats to thrive throughout the country. The growing threats of witches, demons, and dragonkin have long proved too much for ordinary men, leading the Church and their lords to contract unordinary mortals to deal with the problems. They are the hunter guilds, composed of "shorn" individuals whose traumatic pasts have damaged their souls in such a way that they can harness the soul's power to perform inhuman feats. These are the stories of the hunters, of those who are needed, feared, and hated by the people of Anadale.
