Arcana Omen

Arcana Omen has a colorful history and many superstitions surround its mages. Many times a mage wearing a white robe, covered with a black tabard, is said to be the harbringer of great cataclysms as they most often are said to travel the world bringing bad omens and spreading news of upcoming destruction. In this superstition, however, lies the buried truth. As collectors of visions, information and sights, wizards of Arcana Omen often tend to gain information of any approaching doom or destruction and to spread that information as quickly as possible, so that people may react in time. However, every doom or cataclysm is not carried with the same weight and it is rumored that the soothsayers know of an upcoming cataclysm destined to destroy the world, but aare yet discovering ways to stop it themselves or with their close-quartered allies. Only time will tell for those outside of the academy...  

Grand Seer

Grand Seers of the academy are those who are willing to receive greatest risks for their information. Often bargaining with otherworldly entities, or even building relations to other planes to exchange their information from, Grand Seers words are heeded throughout the entire academy and weighed with heavy hearts. These seers are often masters of deduction and are required to learn a large portion of the academies near-endless libraries and prophecies in order to understand every slight hint or context from their interplanar dealings. What kind of a seer would contact one of the hellish princes after all, only to miss the required knowledge to completely decipher what the hellish prince replied?

Seers

Purveyors of less risky and dubious knowledge, Seers often seek ways to contact messengers of the gods, different spynetworks and organisations for their information or even druid groves in order to investigate any suspicious omens they have recived from their visions. Seers form the bulk of Arcana Omen and often times investigate, archive and handle information within the academy walls and are sometimes referred to as "Archivists" if their specialisation is turned towards upkeep and recording of information rather than acquiring new knowledge.

Tidingsbearer, Soothsayer [mockery]

Most commonly seen wizards of Arcana Omen visit countries far away from their academy in order to inform those who are suspected to be at the epicenter of world-changing events. These tidingsbearers might appear to kings who are about to be overthrown, as well as to inform entire villages of an upcoming volcanic eruption. Entire neighborhoods follow the direction these soothsayers choose to take, hoping for them not to take a path that might be near to their loved ones.
