Underdark
The Underdark is a labyrinthian network of connected tunnels that are believed to span the entirety of the Taurin, spanning even the oceans between the known continents though few have ever safely navigated the caverns due to the massive distance and significant dangers. It is believed that many of its tunnels were originally carved by Purple Worms, gargantuan monstrosities (now extinct per Legion Marred order) that consumed earth. The tunnels they left in their wake were then settled by ancient Drow and other creatures born to the dark.
While the majority of civilized life have moved closer to the surface per Legion mandate, the depths of the Underdark are rife with dangerous creatures, criminals, and secret societies. Few who call the depths home are fond of the Legion Marred's presence.
