The Second War
A much more disastreous war than the first. Many lives where lost and due to the magical attacks by the monsters, the elves where not reborn. Leading to a decline in population.
Unbeknownst to the elves, as the evil spirits of the last war where driven back, they placed a planes marker in the Harnwaith, Wasteland of Sand, before the end. Now it was their turn to open a portal into the world of the elves. Time passed differently on the other plane, and while more than a thousand years had passed for the elves, for the evil spirits only a decade had transpired and they where back for revenge. The portal was opened in a remote location, which allowed the creatures to amass in considerable numbers before they were spotted and the war broke out. The elves quickly realized that this war was unlike the previous. The creatures were more powerful and had magical attacks that not only killed, but also prevented the rebirth of the elves, which was a devastating blow to the elvish people. The first few years of the war were filled with despair and sorrow as the elves struggled to defend themselves against the onslaught of the evil creatures. Many lives were lost, and the elves were forced to adapt and develop new strategies to fight against the magical attacks of the creatures. The war dragged on, and the elves suffered losses on a scale they had never experienced before. Previous event
