World Anvil Progress

The Journey So Far
I began using World Anvil in March 2023 as a private tool to help organize the lore, history, and structure of my RPG game. At the time, the world was kept private and designed entirely for my own reference during game development. Because of this, article structure, naming consistency, and layout were never a top priority—clarity for myself was the only goal.
A Turning Point
After attending Worldbuilding Con 2025, I discovered just how vibrant and active the World Anvil community really is. Browsing several of the highlighted and featured worlds was a massive source of inspiration. Seeing how others presented their settings encouraged me to open my own world to the public and become a more active part of this community.   This decision required some restructuring. While I still want to keep game mechanics and certain internal systems private, I chose to make the world history, lore, cultures, and political landscape publicly available for others to enjoy, follow, and discuss.
Making the World Presentable
With a fresh perspective, I revisited the categories and articles I had previously made public. It quickly became evident that most of them were primarily functional—walls of text intended for internal reference rather than public presentation. After spending two months carefully revising each page, they have now been polished and expanded, making them more accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for readers.
Looking Ahead
I’m excited to keep expanding Tathariel and sharing its depth with others. As I continue refining articles and getting more involved in the community, I hope to both contribute and learn from fellow worldbuilders. Thank you for being part of this journey!
Current Focus
As of May 10, 2025, I've completed updating all pages to a state where I feel comfortable sharing my world with this community and beyond. However, summer is approaching—a season I usually dedicate to activities other than coding and world building. Consequently, major updates or additions will likely pause until the days start growing shorter again.
