Guardians of the Realm

Among the great houses of Elysoria, few command the same reverence as House Silverfang. Since the earliest days of the Kingdom of Riverhold, they have served as the realm’s shield—guardians of its borders and defenders of its honor. Their loyalty was never to titles, but to the kingdom itself.   Hailing from the rugged northern provinces—where mountain winds bite and the forests whisper secrets—they reside in their ancestral fortress: Frosthold. It is here that generations of Silverfangs have forged not just blades, but legends. Their crest, a silver wolf beneath a crescent moon, stands as a symbol of fierce loyalty, calculated cunning, and silent strength.  

Legacy of Leadership

During Riverhold’s golden age, Lord Aeric Silverfang earned fame as The Silver Strategist. Under his command, the kingdom’s borders expanded and its peace was preserved for nearly fifty years. His tactical doctrines remain required study at military academies to this day.

In the kingdom’s final days, the Silverfangs led the charge against the separatist Druids and rebellious commoners. Though Riverhold emerged victorious, the cost was immense—its strength depleted, its unity fractured. When the Church rose in the aftermath, the kingdom was too weakened to resist.  

The House Today

Now led by Lord Emeric Silverfang, a descendant of Aeric, the house remains true to its militant roots. Unlike the more diplomatic Valthoriens and Ebonwoods, Emeric believes strength—not compromise—is the path to liberation.   His children carry that belief into the present:   Sir Tristan Silverfang leads covert missions, targeting Church infrastructure and assets. He is a tactician with steel in his hands and fire in his heart.   Lady Elene Silverfang, a scholar of war and ancient lore, serves as the house’s chief strategist. She often works alongside Lady Isolde of House Ebonwood, blending knowledge and force.   Though some younger Silverfangs agitate for more immediate retaliation, Emeric’s disciplined leadership keeps the blade sheathed—until the moment is right.  

Crest and Allegiance

The house banners—deep blue like the night sky, emblazoned with a silver wolf—still rise in hidden strongholds. In secret gatherings, their presence evokes both fear and hope. To loyalists, they are not just a military house, but a beacon: proof that the Dominion can—and will—be challenged.   Their ties to House Valthorien run deep. During King Thrain’s reign, Lord Alden Silverfang—Emeric’s father—served as his most trusted general. Though never heirs to the throne, the Silverfangs were always its fiercest defenders.

The Hidden Armory

  Far beneath the mountains of their homeland lies a whispered legend: the Silvervault. Said to be buried deep within frozen caverns, it holds weapons imbued with forbidden magic, armor that turned blades like water, and relics of war beyond reckoning. Whether myth or truth, the mere idea of the Silvervault keeps hope alive among the oppressed—and fear alive among the faithful.   When the time comes, the call of the silver wolf will rise again—and with it, the warriors who never forgot their oath.
