Ciryahalë
Island of the Jewels
Ciryahalë, also known as the Island of the Jewels, is a tropical island located in the southern part of the ocean. The island is relatively large and has a warm, tropical climate characterized by long, hot summers and mild, pleasant winters. The central parts of the island consist of rolling hills and low mountains, remnants of long-dormant volcanoes.
The eastern part of Ciryahalë is covered in a dense tropical forest teeming with life. The forest is home to a wide variety of exotic flora and fauna, including numerous species of birds, monkeys, and reptiles. In contrast, the western part of the island is significantly drier, with grasslands and scrubby vegetation dominating the landscape.
What sets Ciryahalë apart from other tropical islands is the multitude of ancient lava tunnels running beneath its surface. These tunnels are filled with a remarkable variety of gemstones, including rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and diamonds. Of all the gemstones found on Ciryahalë, the most valuable is the Ciryathanor, or Jewel of Power. This gemstone is incredibly rare and is said to possess potent magical properties, granting its wielder the ability to control the very forces of nature.
Despite its hidden riches, Ciryahalë harbors many dangers. The old lava tunnels are treacherous and challenging to navigate, and the island is home to numerous hazardous creatures, including giant cave spiders, venomous snakes, and other deadly predators. Adventurers and treasure hunters are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution when seeking the secrets hidden beneath the island's lush tropical landscape.
