Stålvingar Clan (Stoʷl-veng-ar)
The Stålvingar Clan is a highly influential clan in The Fylkirate of Northmen. They are one of the five clans which the Fylkir is selected from, as they can trace their bloodline back to one of Hangatyr's five sons. Specifically, the Stålvingar Clan is descended from Sigurd the Steel-Winged. The Stålvingars own a great deal of The Fylkirate's iron mines, and have done the most to promote advances in engineering new weapons and farming techniques in the far north. For these reasons, they are seen as a vital part of Fylkirate society.
The current Fylkir, Hrafn Sveinnsson Stålvingar, belongs to this clan.
