Their founding is shrouded in mystery, but most agree they only came into existence about eighty years ago. The Order of the Black Rose carries a stigma around them, primarily that they are nothing more than hired killers that prey upon nobility. As a result, the Order is clandestine; few know of their existence. Those that do know them likely have suffered their retribution or benefited from their intervention.
The recruitment policy of the Order of the Black Rose is a well-guarded secret. Some believe they only recruit noted assassins who have already taken lives. Others say they take children at their youngest and train them to become dangerous killers to serve their needs. The truth can only be learned from a member of the Order:
