Valkomag
The Soaring God Valkomag (a.k.a. The Soaring Contradiction)
The night is dark, the day was long, and you find yourself tired on your way home to your meager hobble. As you approach the door, ready to find the comfort of your cot, something in the glittering night sky catches your attention. You turn to the sky, and you are met with a shooting star dashing across the black of night. But this appears to be more than a star. Magma pools from this rock, and it appears closer than any shooting star you've ever seen as it hurls balls of fire through the night. Almost as if it's realized that you have spotted this, the cosmic entity turns an enormous ruby eye towards you, and watches the panic in your eyes as it soars past your meager hobble. And just as soon as it had arrived, it had disappeared once more into the dark, starry night.

Holy Books & Codes
Valkomag has a very short book of testament written by one of the first blacksmiths he blessed, the Anvil Prophet, James Komwelt, a Brotarian human in the old age. He guided the human to write a fifty page book detailing metallurgy techniques, and his wisdom among his followers. James was allowed to dub the book whatever he felt fit, so he bestowed it the name "The Fieciune". Common folk know it as "The Blacksmiths Almanac", but scholars, clergymen, and paladins call it by its holy title, and nothing less.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Each sect of the Khurshq have different symbols, with a forge as the common trait between the two.
The Khurshq Gobhadia have a symbol showing a blade resting upon an illustrious iron anvil with a magma ruby eye looking head on from the anvils middle.
The Khurshq Shkantorians have a symbol showing a raging fire burning behind a cracked anvil, with a closed eye in the middle of the anvil.

Tenets of Faith
The tenets that any paladin or clergymen must follow, and that any humble follow should try to obey is as follows.
1.) If a gift is bequeathed unto you, you must repay it two fold so long as the bearer does not harbor their kindness as malcontent over you, knowing of this tenet.
2.) Know of the art of metallurgy, and craft something magnificent every two years. Do not pay unto me tribute, but instead gift this creation unto a worthy being who has triumphed over the struggles of existence, for they shall demonstrate your excellence far beyond the anvil.
3.) Offer unto each being you meet, of malicious intent, the chance to prove their worth. Afford unto them the kindness of Vicnor. If they refuse, allow their soul to be cleansed in death.
4.) Do well unto the gifts of the smith, and treat them as an extension of ones self. And when you lose one, do not rest until it has been reclaimed. If a gift of the smith meets its end in combat, or any other means not caused by thine hands, cast it unto the flames of the mountains, so that I may claim it in the heavens.

Holidays
The life of a smith is tireless, and without any time to think, let alone rest, but they take a day every year to offer blessings unto their friends, family, and other loved ones, such as coinage, things they've crafted, and even services. This is all in celebration of Valkomags vocal beginnings, and pays homage to his teachings.

Personal history
Born from the holy union of Velandruc, and Phimory, daughter of Ishmaar, Valkomag was born only 50 years before the birthing of the planet of Taru. However, while in his mothers womb, Ishmaar learned of the pregnancy, and in his fury, cut the belly of Phimory, spewing the underdeveloped god from her womb, and crippling Phimory in the process . However, even after being deprived of the development that he needed, Valkomags soul burned with too much passion, and he managed to survive in secret with the protection and care of his father, Velandruc. As he grew, Valkomags body did not develop as either his mother, nor his father, instead staying in the sickly fetus form that he had entered existence as. In an attempt to strengthen his son, Velandruc cast a mighty spell to give his son skin stronger than any stone. While this worked, and gave Valkomag a strong body, it warped him as well, molding his body into a small ball of rock, with no eyes, mouth, ears, or nose. Fearing that he had destroyed his son, he waited, as he could still see the ball of rock pulsating. Years passed, before one day, a crack emerged on the form, and from the crack came forth a magma ruby colored eye, curious to see what it had missed. By this time in his life, Velkomag had grown dozens of feet in size, and this growth wouldn't stop for years. More years had passes, sitting on the ground, attempting to peer around and see the world around it. Frustrated with his inability to do anything that the gods should be able to do, his body grew craters, and from his rage, magma spew forth, melting anything that dared to come near. Months passed after this, and Valkomag began to realize the power in his rage, and attempted to direct it to his benefit. After years of practice, Valkomag managed to direct his rage, and use the spewing of magma to allow himself to fly. With more practice, he managed to begin using nothing more than heat to propel himself in any direction. But with this, he was not satisfied as he could not talk to any of the other gods, so he made his way to Vicnor, and with no words, he begged. His sight met with that of the beautiful Vicnor, and she could see the pain in his gaze, but there were not many options that was at her disposal. But unable to send the poor god away, she blessed him with telepathic abilities so that he might talk to mortals, and other gods. This decision was met with a grateful, soft voice, as tears began to spew forth from Valkomags enormous eye. The first time he had produced anything non destructive, and it was thanks to a woman he had never been able to speak to, who had blessed him even though he had done nothing but destroy in his entire life. He decided that he would amass followers who would create the most marvelous of creations, and vowed that one day, he would return with a gift that would be fit to repay the goddess for the benevolence that she had shown him that day. Needing something to rule over, his father gave him a few of his own domains.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Having been the reason for almost all legendary weapons, armor, and other metallurgy, Valkomag is the reason that mortals were blessed with the knowledge of metal working at all. he continues to bless legendary figures in history with the talent of metal work in hopes that one day, one of them creates something fitting as a gift for Vicnors kindness.
Failures & Embarrassments
The "Shkantorians", or "Scorched People" in common tongue, are easily Valkomags greatest disappointment, but still something he allows to happen. Despite wishing to have followers who wish to create, and share their creations with their fellow mortal, and maybe even Vicnor, but instead their are those who follow his domain of Magma, and heat to an extreme, and use these strengths to burn and maim people in the name of Valkomags glory. To his shame, however.
Intellectual Characteristics
Being dumb in many subjects, the one thing that he was blessed with by his father, Valkomag knows an almost infinite knowledge on metallurgy and smithing.
Morality & Philosophy
Believing that a favor should be returned by a greater favor, Valkomag teaches to give, and repay, but for his people to never expect return favors or gifts. He teaches as well, however, to never repay a favor or gift if the giver holds the gift over the receivers head, and to destroy the gift in front of the giver in some cases to symbolize the freedom from their greed.
As well, he teaches to never allow a bad situation to crush a sturdy soul, even when your body itself is crumbling. For those who worship him, and overcome great hardships shall receive blessings from Valkomag, whether it's in the form of wealth, a job, brilliant metallurgy skill, being given a position as a clergymen, or even paladin-hood. Those who overcome extraordinary hardships are sometimes even offered to become celestials under Valkomags command, and join him in The Zelashian realm.
Personality Characteristics
Virtues & Personality perks
Valkomag is known for his tendency to give minor blessings unto many of his followers, giving 2-5 blessings every 6 months to a year, usually in the form of further metallurgy talent.
Vices & Personality flaws
While he tends to travel the stars, collecting rare metals. However, he goes back home so that he may visit Vicnor almost every week. This tends to take his time, disconnecting him from his followers for various amounts of time.
Personality Quirks
A common way that smiths tend to be punished is by having their hands crushing by their hammers, or being gruesomely burned by the forge. These punishments tend to happen to smiths who've dedicated themselves to Valkomag, but have little to no care for their craft.
Their was a single instance in history in which Valkomag came from the heavens to punish a heretical follower. The man, named "Leon Kylth" was guilty of not only poor craftsmanship, and poor material used in the making of a short sword, but he sold it to a foolish kobold paladin by the name of "Ingurn", who was told that the blade was of the highest craft, and blessed by Valkomag himself. Believing this lie, Ingurn later lost his life in a battle with a lone Atatator. This death, however, was not due to the young draconids inability, but due to the weapon he was tricked into using, by the smith that his god taught him to trust.
Enraged by the loss of Ingurn, Valkomag burned Leon layer by layer, beginning with his flesh, then his fat, then his muscles, and finally his bones. He spared him no pain, ensuring that he burned his vitals last. His cries echoed out through the night for 2 whole days before he was finally relieved from his torture and sent to the afterlife. But his soul would not be spared there either, as Valkomag took his soul, and keeps it burning in his forge, never to be released.
Ingurn, however in death, was allowed to become a celestial under Valkomag, and became his first solar.
