Cali'ebor (Cal-ih-Ee-Bor)

Cali'ebor (a.k.a. All, Existence, Rapture, The Void.)

As the eons bore on, and the Pelta gods continued to spawn, and create, and inhabit the void that was all of their existence, Benevolence, the good side of Doppelt, realized a truth about that which he had created merely by existing. There must be a reason for it all, a logical reason behind it. There must be a...law.
And thus, from Benevolences revelation another god was birthed into the yet unformed cosmos. And from this god it deemed itself a name befitting as it's existence permeated the now forming cosmos. "Cali'ebor", it called itself. It cared little for it's siblings, and as it enraptured them in itself, it forced it's subjugation as well upon them. All but it's creator, Doppelt. So mighty was the serpent god that it was left outside Cali'ebor, as it only wanted that which it could control in it's clutches.
Fearful of what might become of them, the Pelta gods attempted to flee, but it was too late, and Cali'ebor grew too vast. They were trapped inside a new realm of its design, and the Peltas could feel it's affects begin to weigh upon them. Not knowing what would soon happen to them, they were only free of the suffocation their sibling caused when Hallowit momentarily overpowered Cali'ebor and tore a rift into the plane.
Plunging into the rift, the gods soon realized that they were not truly free of Cali'ebor, still existing within it, but in a space where they could manipulate the laws of existence that it imposed. This came to be known as the Zelashian realm, and after a time, the Peltas began to commune with their new sibling, and sometimes still into the new realm to speak with Doppelt, create life, talk to followers, or even show trust to Cali'ebor itself. And although many of the gods still plot its destruction eventually, they are in a hesitant peace for now

Law and Order

Holy Books & Codes

Blessing mortals with the knowledge to please it, and keep all that is right, Cali'ebor gave a dozen mortals divided information to create a holy text. It also gave them a location to meet and form what is now known as the "Languiopus". This holy text outlines the border mortals may walk with the laws of existence, and instructs them in thousands of ways to avoid chaos, and appease it in various rituals, and sacrifices of those who bore too much chaos into existence.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Those who choose to follow Calie'ebor wear an eye with the pupil and whites of the eye being void black. These are usual iron, with an onyx for the pupil

Tenets of Faith

1) Obey and accept the laws of existence.
2) Punish those who wish to disrupt this existence by death.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

It was once Cali'ebors ultimate goal to eradicate all forms of chaos in existence. And while this is still something it wishes to see done, it is more concerned now with simply maintaining the balance of everything, being content with what it has instilled.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Cali'ebor is the everything that encapsulates everything. It is not stars, not planets, or even color itself. It is The Void that allows all other things to exist, be it good, evil, lawful, or chaotic. An inky black ichor that forever expands so that none may ever truly know it's true form, or escape its powerful clutches.

Mental characteristics

Failures & Embarrassments

Cali'ebor does not feel emotion. It simply believes in a law that should existence within itself, and thusly all whom it consumes must abide. The only folly it considers itself to have made was not preventing its siblings from making a haven for themselves where it could not grasp them.

As well, it considers every passing moment of Nalohits existence to be an afront to itself. All the laws it sets forth for all creatures to follow, and subjecting it's brethren to make laws in turn for all it creates is spat on by all that Nalohit brings about. Chaos, free will, freedom itself. These are all what Cali'ebor considers a failure for allowing Nalohit to bring forth. For every ten laws Cali'ebor creates, Nalohit gives mortals a means to disrupt this flow. And while Cali'ebor despises this, it is aware that while it is not of its own design, this balancing of chaos and law must be a law in and of itself. And thus, with this understanding, it leaves Nalohit to their own devices, so long as nothing too devastating is brought about.

Intellectual Characteristics

When communed with, mortals have found that Cali'ebor speaks in absolutes. There is no space for ifs and maybes, only for the concrete, and evident. It is concise, and answers in the exact terms it means to convey. This can sometimes confuse mortal scholars, however, as it uses words at times that are in the tongue of the gods. And while this may seem contradictory to its conciseness, when asked about its multi-lingual jumbling of words, it simply responded "Mortals will never understand such concepts as the words of the gods. I use such words that you have never, and will never, create."

Morality & Philosophy

Cali'ebor is the antithesis of law, order, and boundaries in the plane. All things must have a law in which it abides by. Cali'ebor must follow a law, the gods must follow a law, planets must follow a law, nature must follow a law, and after they were created, the mortals were made to follow laws. But Cali'ebor believes in simply laws of existence, and not the laws of a society. The gods follow laws, but they are laws of existence, not codes of conduct. Mortals must follow a law of mortality, but are only subjugated to social laws of their own design. All who make such laws receive the benevolent gaze of Cali'ebor, but to tame one's mind are not things it sees as necessary.

Taboos

Breaking fundamental laws, such as humans gaining the ability of flight without magical means in constant effect are but one of the many ways that one can draw Everything's scornful stare.
Magic is something that Cali'ebor cannot greatly influence, as it comes from pieces of Doppelt himself. But this hasn't stopped it from making mortals suffer for their arrogance. As a law of nature, it cursed all things mortal to suffer greatly if they overuse the cosmic bending powers of magic. But this too was corrupted by Nalohit, and now the outcome will inevitably relate to the magic cast, but will rarely result in the same consequences as the last.
Finally, Cali'ebor condemns the ascension of status. Again, it cares little for the social conduct of any being in the universe. However, it abhores creatures ascending from one state of being to the next. A deer should never become a sentient being, and a sentient being should never become a god
