Rumble Drive
Typically mounted in sets of four to vehicles, rumble drives are Maiga emitters that produce a constant concussive wave away from the drive along with its namesake sound. They resemble large, round speakers on swivel mounts to allow for steering whatever craft they are affixed to. While incapable of true flight, rumble drives allow a vehicle to hover around a meter above the ground and traverse across all terrain at great speed, including over water. The range of the vehicles that use them are somewhat limited due to how maiga intensive their operation is.
Access & Availability
Due to their complex internal structure, rumble drives are fairly rare and typically only mounted on dedicated vehicles. Only the core mechanics are made from maiga conducting materials, the main portion of the visible cone is metallic to save weight and add durability over stone or plant matter. Price aside, they are often used in civilian and military craft alike, typically for delivering freight or ordnance quickly across varied or difficult terrain.
