The Cult of the Goddess.

The Cult of the Goddess is the most prolific and major religion in the land. It is a polytheistic religious order, and the greatest of the deities worshiped by its members are the three eternal Goddesses: Mallejo the Goddess of Power, Doethine the Goddess of Wisdom, and Faewara the Goddess of Courage. These three goddesses are the most highly-revered of all deities throughout the entire realm, as they were responsible for its creation and all who live in it. The people have also been known to worship the essences of these goddesses, which dwell within all things and peoples and can be harnessed or enhanced by ancient relics. The Eternal Goddesses on high, are known to have departed these lands long ago but they left their peoples in the care of many minor deities. These deities were left to serve this realm as stewards and protect its people as well as the divine interests of the goddess. They also serve as the main focus of many people's worship as the minor gods are usually attributed to more specific areas and peoples as well as having many more stories attributed to them as they often play a more direct role in the lives of the mortal inhabitants of the realm on behalf of the goddess.

Cosmological Views

In the beginning, the Four divine Goddess descended from the heavens onto our plane. At first, there was nothingness a sea of unending chaos and magic without form or order. The Goddess of Power Mallejo began constructing the world, she first formed the earth and the elements within. With her powerful arms, she carved out the great mountains and valleys and dredged the mighty rivers. When her labour was over she lastly breathed an eternal flame into the world to serve as its lifeblood. Then the second and most Wise Goddess Doethine began her work creating all the natural laws of our world.
Once the law was established the Goddess of Life Faewara began to breathe life into the world so that there would be those to abide by the laws, and with everything she touched new beings sprang into existence. Great elemental beings and guardian spirits began to walk the land, but Faewara's work was not yet done. From Mallejo's earth she began to craft beings of deliberate form. She gifted her first three, creations to her sisters Mallejo, Doathine, and Gamove the Goddess of Time. But they knew not what to do with their new gifts; so Faewara began to demonstrate.
Faewara created new forms, this time of creatures far smaller and she breathed life into them and thus the first Tarrahmians walked the world. The goddess were so pleased and began with Faewara's help to bring life to their gifts.
Mallejo took her new child in her great arms and with Faewara's help imparted life and a part of her own essence onto the hollow form. From this was born a being of great power, the first of the new lesser Gods the sun Goddess Qhaphine who took to the sky and brought daylight to illuminate the world and dominate the sky. Then Doathine and Faewara brought to life the Moon God Xatune to light the dark night in Quaphines absence and rule over the vast oceans of Tarramh.
Then Gamove the Goddess of time bestowed her gift upon her child, but she could not give the gift of life to the empty form, as she is the goddess of time she could only offer the gift of death. Gamove so wanted to share her gift with her child so it would be tied to her and her essence. Faewara assisted her, creating a new being a God of death. Faewara admired Gamove’s gift and the balance it brought. she decided Gamove should share the gift of death with all Tarramhs creatures who were given the gift of life creating the mortal races, who all are fated to find themselves in Gamoves embrace and stewardship after they are done with Faewara gift, declaring Gamove the Goddess of Time and the Dead.
Numerous other creatures and races would be created to follow and each given gifts and abilities from the goddess, Faewara created Humans, with all her courage and lust for life that she had. Mallejo created the Dwarves who thrived within her earth and shared her resolute nature and power. Doathine created the Elves and imparted them with her great wisdom and beauty. Lastly, Gamove created the Nospheratu beings of the night and Underworld gifted with Undeath. Doathine requested each race be given a patron guardian god to watch over and guide them in the Goddess's stead, and once this was complete the Goddess finished their great work and departed returning to the heavens.

The faithful are Guided by beings known as Sage . Each temple devoted to the Goddess will likely have a resident Sage, while larger temples will even have Grand Sages devoted to particular Gods or Goddess. A Sage is usually a pillar of the community acting as an authority and guiding hand to the people of Terramh.
Sage is a title that is passed down from one Sage to their chosen successor.
