Goliath

On their home-world, the Goliath were a slave race created by a group of even larger beings. The Giants of that world caused an arcane calamity of some sort, and their world fell to ruin. The Empyreals found and rescued them - but only those who had stood against the enslavement of the Goliath and the hubris that destroyed their world. In the ages that have passed since, the Giants have formed a great empire in the lands beyond the Ruhks and many Goliaths have gone to join them, but many smaller bands and communities of Goliaths still exist throughout Vaniya.
