Dicemen
The gnoll's tongue was hanging from its face, panting, overheating, head spinning as it ran. But it didn't slow down. It didn't let up, panic in its eyes. "Ghosts, ghosts in the sand" it growled, "Gotta keep going, gotta warn chief, gotta...." The creature let out a fearful whine, as from the dunes ahead of it two forms appeared, blades in hand. "Ghosts in the sand, ghosts in the sand." the creature kept repeating, curling into the fetal position.

Equipment
These troops may not fight mounted, but every soldier knows how to ride and has a camel. Though they can ride, these beasts are actually used for beasts of burdens. Tent, cloak, food and water rations, medicines, etc.
Weaponry
These troops prefer to use close quarters fighting, specifically rapiers or epees mostly, though some prefer less...fencing and more proper swordplay, using sabres or shamshirs. But any they have the resources to use any and all melee weapons and be well trained with them if they desire. They also carry explosives and aren't afraid to engage in other methods of ranged combat, as once again, being the elite of their nation and faith, they have the access to the resources to train.
Vehicles
When more than two or three Dicemen are sent to the same location, that's when a wagon likely becomes involved.
Structure
The Dicemen are....rather independent and seem almost unstructured, but in truth they have a strict hierarchy, and answer to Dicemaster Leovan Contara, a halfling in his early 50s, and known as the most dangerous swordsman in the land.
Tactics
A strange and impressive mix of guerilla tactics, and lightning speed warfare.
Training
Years of swordsmanship instruction daily, ten hours a day in some cases, along with survival and specialized camel handling and camel care training.

Hidden caches, hidden oasis hideaways, and military outposts to resupply.
Auxilia
If something presents the need for a large scale response, absolutely. Any part of the military would be honored to respond.
Upkeep
These elite soldiers are paid 2 gold a week. As to supplies and equipment, they are a small drop in the larger bill for the entire military.
Recruitment
Five years of military service is required before they'll even consider letting you apply. After that comes a year of the hardest, most demanding training one will ever experience. Should you make it to the end, then you find yourself joining their ranks.
History
The predecessors of this unit were a key figure in the reclaiming of this nation, the blade masters of Susma heritage never losing their history. They have fought in many major conflicts since, be it with the wandering Joten of the Sands, or Black Mist incursions.

Susma, and to the First Blade, whom is currently Zenar Himaria, a man whom is in his late forties, early fifties.
