Susma is often referenced for its harsh laws, but none seem to understand why. It is because the land we live in is harsh. Harsh lands lead to harsh rules, necessary for survival.
Purpose
This document is the legal code of the nation of Susma, detailing both civil and criminal, a long, well written document kept on a wall of every courthouse in every town, and also kept in writing, about 100 pages worth. Logical, well written, and easily readable to almost anyone, it is written with a typical orcish style. Not to much complex or flowery language, just brutal and to the point. It covers the laws, punishments, and all ethics and rules of trials and how the judicial process is to operate.

Like any legal code, you can never please everyone. depending who you ask, there are always possible nitpicks. But overall, the public has, and continues to be quite pleased with this document.
