More than 800 years ago, an apocalyptic flood overtook the continent of Tanera. When the waters receded, Orthod the Uniter brought together its surviving disparate peoples under his common rule, rebuilding the world's drowned civilisations. In the centuries that followed territories split, borders moved, leaders rose and fell.   The time before the Flood is a mystery. The waters wiped out whatever came before with brutal efficiency, leaving behind only rare rumours and relics for those few individuals who care to seek them out.
