Aylied
The “Heartland Elves” were a pale moonshade color.
The earliest stories of the Aylieds comes from their studies of magic, and from their drifting away from the Altmer. According to the most ancient recordings, it was the Aylieds who began first to resent the static and often “childish” views of the Altmer. It was the Aylieds, after all, who fought against endless hordes of the goblinoids. Yet, their brethren rested safely on their islands, secure in their control over the goblins whom they ruled, and had the courage to admonish the Aylieds for warlike ways against their foes. Did not the goblins kill any Aylied child they met? Did not the goblins of the mainland burn and maim and eat all which they could reach? By what right then did the Altmer, so distant and safe, have the right to criticize or offer guidance?
