TamerlaneRP's Way Up North
In the land of the ice and snow...
The Way Up North campaign is set in the Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms world and follows Pathfinder Ed. 1 rules. The game offers an exciting experience packed with tactical thinking, combat, political intrigue, humor, and peril. Our game has an age rating of 18+ due to mature themes, smoking, violence, sexual content, and possible chicken interactions.
A group of unknown, untried, and unacquainted adventurers were brought together for what was thought to be a simple task for a mage in Waterdeep who seems to have too much information on too many people. A simple run to a ruined library to grab some scrolls and books became a run-in with crazy gnomes, shapeshifters, and a legendary villain who was thought long-dead. After meeting up with a cult also thought long-dead the group has been sent “way up north” to the frozen wastes of Ten Towns, where the group picked up new compatriots who had their own motives. They also came face-to-face with the legendary villain who nearly took over Faerun centuries ago. Several twists and turns as to who was a friend and who was a foe, the party raced over all of Faerun from Waterdeep to the Dalelands to Mulmaster and back to Ten Towns again. With the cult on their heels and thinking the party were working with them, the party came up against a mad goddess bent on taking over the realm. Deals with liches, goblins and mages, the party was able to break through some of the illusions and falsehoods to get a better idea of who they were actually facing and who they could trust. Several possible God Wars later, the party now stands on the precipice of ending the upcoming tyranny and seeing who it has been that has been goading them into starting a war and for what nefarious reasons. Did I mention the Goblin country singer and the Halfling comedian?
