The Hallowed Ones

The Hallowed are a mysterious and powerful group that operates in the Brekirid Empire. They are known for their ability to regenerate lost limbs and even their entire bodies over time, as well as their immunity to most forms of physical harm. They are incredibly strong and fast, and are skilled in the use of a wide range of weapons and combat techniques.
  Members of The Hallowed are not known by their original names, as they have been stripped of their identities and are now simply known by their assigned numbers. Each member has a unique number tattooed on their forehead, and they are fiercely loyal to their master and their mission.
  The Hallowed are recruited from dying enemies that dare battle against the Hallowed, and they are given the choice of death or becoming a member of the group. If they choose to become a Hallowed, they undergo a ritual in which a hole is made in their chest and their heart is removed. This transforms them into undead beings with a limited sense of self and no emotions. They are then given their assigned number and become loyal servants of their master.
  Despite their powerful abilities, The Hallowed are seen as a tragic and unsettling group by many. They are a shell of their former selves, with their transformation into undead beings causing them to lose much of their personality and emotions. They operate in a kind of "zoned" state, following orders without question and carrying out their mission with detached efficiency.
  The Emperor and his advisors are aware of the existence of The Hallowed, but they do not know who their master is or what their ultimate goal is. Some believe that The Hallowed are controlled by a powerful and ancient magical entity, while others believe that they are the creations of a mad scientist or alchemist. Marcus Blackthorn, the leader of The Watch, has had several encounters with The Hallowed and has made it his personal mission to uncover the truth behind them and their mysterious master.
