Preezle

Preezle is a large port city in the Zimzankatan. The city guard is led by Mr.Clebbynirt.  

Noble Gnome Spires

The city's downtown is made up of a series of towering spires, but since a geological incident some decades ago they all stick out at odd angles. This leaves them tilted and leering over the rest of the city like an odd crystalline structure. As you step further from the city center the streets slowly widen and the building slowly get larger, as it becomes more accomodating for non-gnommish people to navigate. At the docksside district the city is fully sized to medium creatures.  

Automata Dockyard

The cliffside dockyard of Preezle is a massive limestone construction staffed almost entirely by automata. It runs a semicircular track around the peninsula the city sits on, in two rings. In the outer ring, well planned/regular ships slow down, but never quite stop, as the automata quickly and efficiently empty them of their cargo, and reload them for their next journey. The gnome dockworkers around for this process serve administrative functions, keeping careful ledgers marking the flow of goods. By the time the ships have reached the end of the docks, they're ready to go and continue sailing to their next destination.   The inner ring serves as more of a traditional dockyard, though still operated with primarily automaton longshoremen.  

Magic Shops

There are many shops in town for magical goods or works of artifice and alchemy, including the following:

• Satia's Wondrous Wands
• The Fox's Tinctures
• Amminyal's Quill
• Lugh's Leaves, a cramped and cozy shop stuffed to the gills with plants of all sorts. It's run by a shy and quiet wood elf in a mask

 

Other Local Spaces

  Grated Garnet Inn
The grated garnet inn is a sailor's bar near in the dock district. They famously ask "how tough are ya?" at the door, and demand a sufficiently impressive response for entry. Their bartender is a large automaton named Lloyd.   Silverspring Toy Manufactorium
This toy factory is run by genius artificer Rolisa Silverspring, who chooses to practice her art in the field of toymaking.
