Talitha Harbor, a distant planet and home to descendants of a desolate Earth. A planet of great islands with diverse ecosystems. Complex and lush biomes fill both land and sea. Ecologies that took a different turn on their evolutionary path than Earth. Massive oceans teem with life, from the microscopic to enormous fish larger than a sailing ship. Their land never evolved birds, mammals, or any known reptiles. Where the largest land animal is transplanted Homo sapiens.
Decedent from Earthians who risked it all to seek a better existence, the Talithans built their society around the preservation of life. A society that values the life of its planet’s biome as much as the sanctity of its humans. They developed a cooperative society where greed is taboo. It’s also a society of acceptance. There are no borders. Respect is given to all people, irrespective of their gender, sexuality, appearance, or abilities.
The Talithans have lived on their planet for more than one thousand Earth years. Their culture and systems have grown and developed gradually and carefully, along with their population. They started as a small group of weary travelers, trying to survive on an alien planet. They are now Three Great Cities, each with thirteen individual governments called Vocations. Their growth has been slow and steady. A rhythm most find comfortable. However, their population will soon demand a new city. A lofty endeavor that will cause a significant shift in population and resources. One that will bring out the best in some and the worst in others.
