Salt Pit Lake
Once a beautifully clear lake full of life when the folly happened every drop of water was turned to salt. looking out across the expanse of the now wasteland it is still possible to see the skeletons of the ships that were on the lake when it happened.
Fauna & Flora
Other than the majis folly wood on its western shore there is no local life within the lake. Even the miners only go there for a few weeks at a time as it is a harsh place to try and live.
Natural Resources
Salt Pit Lake is now mined in several locations on its shoreline for the salt that the water was transformed into.
The salt found here is truely pure once you get past the crust that is exposed to the air, because of this it is widely used in the preservation of meat and also in the healing arts to help staunch bleeding without the risk of infection.
There are also a few of the worlds magic users who use it in their research saying that as it was once water the salt may still have some magic locked within. If it could be accessed then the lake would be a potential source of arcane power for hundreds of years.
