Vision Magic, a power both alluring and destructive, has a dark and twisted origin story intertwined with the forgotten demons of the past. Legends whisper of a time when monstrous beings of immense power, the demons, walked the world a long time ago, now forgotten and banished to other realms. Feared for their destructive might, they waged wars that reshaped the very fabric of reality. Humans are more like them than any other species, so they long and fear their far-flung power. They used their enormous power only for destruction, leading to countless wars, known as heroes in some eras and tyrants in others.   As the Age of Blood raged, humanity faced annihilation. In a desperate bid for survival, alchemists of the era embarked on a forbidden experiment. They sought to harness the very essence of demons, injecting it into human subjects. This audacious act birthed Vision Magic, a potent ability that granted humans unimaginable power.   Vision Magic did not come without a heavy cost. The demonic essence became embedded in the human genome, passed down through generations. While the power itself offered immense strength, it also harbored a dark secret. The stronger the Vision Magic user, the more potent the demonic influence within them.   Those wielding lesser degrees of Vision Magic might experience the demonic influence subtly, perhaps as whispers in their sleep. However, for the truly powerful, the whispers became a constant, insidious temptation. These demons, trapped within the human form, would incessantly urge their hosts to embrace their power, to succumb to the darkness for ultimate control.   The first users of Vision Magic, exemplified by Freynopple's humans, were consumed by arrogance. Blinded by their newfound power, they believed themselves invincible. This hubris led to their downfall, echoing in the destruction of the Kingdom of Orbs.   The history of Vision Magic is a cautionary tale. Humans, in their lust for power, became unwitting hosts to the demonic essence they sought to control. The very act of creation became a curse, a constant battle against the darkness that resides within. Vision Magic, a power born of desperation, remains a double-edged sword, offering immense potential at the risk of complete annihilation.
