Tranquility Gardens

The gardens are meant to show the beauty of Senju's flora from across its lands and be a place of tranquility and inner peace for all who visit them.

Various sections have been added over time to add new plants and buildings in the garden to expand on its beauty and peaceful atmosphere.

Much of the design is based on old Senjuese designs that are bright in color and elegant in shape. These designs are meant to blend in with the surrounding plant life while giving the plants enough space to breathe and space from one another. Newer designs, such as large stones and ponds, have also been placed over time to add layers to the feel of nature.

Vigil Warders : To ensure that no corruption of Gloomspawn can reach the borders, the garden warders have been placed around to stave off any servant of The Gloom from drawing near.

Planting A Seed

  It all started when the old capital of Osensu fell into ruins in the aftermath of the The Sundering with no means of rebuilding the shattered lands around it. From this disaster, the ruling Radiarch Jeosin Gento set out with the survivors in search of a new home. It was a long and perilous journey with many struggles in the newly changed landscape around them. Yet it would send them inland into lush, untamed, safe, plentiful lands. Jeosin declared the building of their new home at one of these places when he came across a beautiful and rare Fire Blossom tree in a clearing. From that point, Bosow was built, Jeosin ordered the building of a garden around the Fire Blossom to create a place of peace for all to enjoy nature's beauty.   As time went on and Bosow grew, so did the garden boundaries and the idea of peace that it brought with it, again, the loud and busy streets of the city. By that time, caretakers began to gather various plants from all over and mold the garden into a symbol of tranquility to all who set foot in it. This caused the garden to become one of Senju's sacred treasures for the spirituality it gave to all within its domain. As the tales of the garden began to spread, so did the masses that came to see it in search of hope that would free them of their woes and ailments, which it would do so for many that looked for peace where none could find any, even as the centuries passed by.  

Ailing From Within

  Much has changed within the walls of Bosow since the Duskfall, and strange things have been occurring with it. But more shockingly, it started with the Tranquility Garden of all places, as the peace it brought slowly became dreadful. The wonderful plant life that inhabits the garden itself has slowly begun to die for unknown reasons. Even with the skill of its care takers, nothing of normal means seems to be working, even with the aid clergy to see if it is an out break of the Gloom that some how got into it. All the power that the garden held now seems to be fading away gradually as the place known as a symbol of inner peace has slowly faded away with possibility of a dark times coming with it.

Thousands of people from all across Senju come to visit the gardens, which promote healing and inner peace amongst nature to those who desperately need it. Even travelers outside of Senju have been known to take long journeys to reach such a place in order to find peace from the many hardships that ail them in life.
