Doom and Gloom
Doom and gloom, the sky’s gone blind,
Ash and sorrow twist the mind.
The bells all toll, the stars decay,
The sun retreats, the radiant give way.
The rivers black, the trees take flame,
The earth forgets its maker’s name.
The wind turns foul, the sea turns red,
The living envy now the dead.
Doom and gloom, the end draws near,
The bones of time all quake with fear.
No crown shall stand, no stone shall stay,
All light shall rot and fade away.
Yet from the dark, a voice will bloom
I am the gloom.
For every end, a seed is sown,
And from the ash, the world regrown.
