Uer'osel and Yargmei, The Twisted Guardians

Reaching up into the unknown Uer'osel and her twin Yargmei stood ever stalwart in the center of Ajamerei, The bright wood but though they both still stand the gathering of trees is now simply referred as the The Rotted Wood. When everything else here was destroyed the twins survived though now these great monoliths are a twisted incarnation of their former selves.   There lowest branches which once were held up to the sky now spread out like a disease across the ground swallowing anything they touch, where their tendrils reach living forest they leave only husks and dust. There upper appendages spread out like wings smothering the sky. Below the Rotted Wood lays dying in the perpetual darkness of there long casted shadows. Nothing living survives below the canopy.  

History

It is said Uer'osel and her sibling were gifted to the world by Aja, Patron Natura moments after her sister Gamrii, The Sky Mother drew the sky. It is also written that there creation in Eldorei was the pantheons way of letting nature birth the children of the forest that the world calls Elves.   They stood guarding the world of nature for Eons. It is only in recent history that what was once two mighty guardians have now become a miasma on the aspects they once held so dear. The reasoning for why suddenly the beautiful forest north of the central plains turned from its verdant embracing nature to the The Rotted wood is believed to be unknown. That is to say if someone does know it is a secret kept.
