Hegelind High Temple to Gamrii, The Sky Mother

Nestled deeply in the center of the great city of Hegelind and surrounded by gardens that bloom year-round is the High Temple of Gamrii, The Sky Mother. Said to be constructed on a foundation of stone brought from The Dagger in the far north this spiraling tower that looks to flimsy to stand soars ever upward into the sky. Stone not unlike quartz but as transparent as glass has been used to construct the spire reaching into the heavens. Looking to the tip you can see the clear stone continues into a point.   The publically accessible temple area in its base is paved with polished marble that reflects the giant mosaic that covers the dome above. This mosaic depicts an image of Gamrii standing atop a giant mountain staring out into the nothingness above her. She has a brush in her left hand and where she has laid strokes on the horizon there is a blue hue, the sky being born into life.   There is large double doors in the western wall that lead to the staircase that winds up the inside of the spire to its very tip.
