Wings of Grace
When magic first reentered the world there were many different kinds of impacts. One of the largest impacts was upon individuals who were changed into another form of being. Some became giants, or merfolk, or other 'monsters' from myth while others were partially transformed rather than wholly remade.
At Wings of Grace we focus on those who maintained a humanoid appearance and gained wings. Those who were graced with wings suffered many atrocities, and faced many prejudices. These individuals were often mocked, or just as often called angels and mobbed by those wanting to collect feathers. Those with bat wings were attacked as devils in many countries. Some were driven from their homes or neighborhoods.
Having wings is not considered a disability under the laws in most countries so accommodations are not required by schools or businesses. Those who grew wings were often fired because they were unable to use standard office equipment. They may have been forced to change schools because of bullying by teachers and/or students. And if those situations weren't enough, they suddenly found themselves in need of new beds, chairs, clothing and more based on the nature of their wings.
Wings of Grace helps any individual with wings, Wingers or fully transformed individuals. They offer services to help with education, job placement, and the needs of day to day living for those with wings and their families.
Founded by Emilia Koehler, the founder of Rook, Inc., Wings of Grace has close ties to The Rookery, a delivery service which promises to ensure your items are delivered with the personal touch, and The Academy at The Rookery, a school which helps winged individuals learn to function in harmony with their ability to fly.
