Tenets of Faith

Commandments of Corellon:
  • Create, inspire, and find beauty in all that you do.
  • Follow the echoes of lost magics, forgotten sites, and ancient art, for within these lie the Arch Heart’s first works.
  • Weave beauty in whatever paths you follow.
  • Holidays

The first holiday of the Arch Heart is the festival of Midsummer which is celebrated the last day of Solmanord through the first day of Heyannir. Followers of Corellon celebrate with strong wine and various parties and games held out in enchanted forests. The whole of the festival is held outside and it is seen as rude to go indoors at this time. At night between the two days, worshippers will lay out underneath the orange-pink light of the moon Septiis - The Summer King and worship the Arch Heart in prayer & song.

The second holiday is the anniversary of the Arch Heart's wedding to the Everlight on the 14th of Harpa, as a holiday known simply as 'The Wedding'. This is a dual holiday for the two gods. Both followers and non-followers of these two gods will get married on the 14th of Harpa as a prayer for a successful marriage. Marriages in general are also often performed in the name of the Corellon Larethian and Sarenrae even when not on the Wedding. At his wedding to the Everlight, the Arch Heart gave the Everlight his colors of orange, yellow, and white. This has established the tradition that the man in the marriage ceremony gives a gift to the woman as a token of their love and esteem.
