Toki, Kamose, Soryna, and Jelibye discover and investigate Quincy's exsanguinated corpse. After stopping Quincy's corpse from rising as a ghast, killing Father Memling and then devastating tent-town, they learn that Quincy's final days lead back to his trick paramour, Ciprian, an employee of the Silver Tail, who says that Quincy had been enamored of some treasure supposedly left on the north end of the lakes ages ago, but didn't believe it himself
