Virae (Vih-Ray)

The Wildmother

Virae is a member of the Elari, a group of divine beings formed by the Creator at the dawn of time to act as stewards over the fundamental forces of Creation. As the Elari of Nature, Virae is responsible for maintaining the balance of nature within Taeva, and holds dominion over all plants, animals, and the cycle of the seasons within the world, making her one of the four Empyrean Elari most directly tied to the Mortal Realm. Revered by the Cernai (who regard her as their creator), as well as many Druid circles, as the greatest steward of the wild places of the world, Virae is also seen by many as the embodiment of growth.
