Sacra

Having been blessed by Archaiel herself, Sacra holds immense divine power within it. This typically manifests as either a bright white glow or ethereal white flame emenating from the blade, and the sword is especially effective against Fiends and other creatures born of Malice. Additionally, the sword is extremely resilient, and remains as pristine as it was when it was first created.

The history of Sacra is deeply tied to the events of the Great Planar Incursion, a large Fiend invasion of Taeva that took place during the Mythic Age. During this time, it was said that Sacra was a simple iron sword used Ahmad, only gaining its divine attributes after being blessed by the Elari Archaiel, and when combined with the blessings bestowed on the rest of his arms and armour, it served to transform a once mortal human into the first champion of Archaiel. It is said that this sword was responsible for cutting down many lesser Fiends, and was responsible for dealing the final blow against the Greater Fiend responsible for leading the invasion. Following the war, Sacra was entrusted to Ahmads most trusted companions after his passing, and while the exact whereabouts of the sword is unknown, it's believed that the Paladin order known as the Wardens of the Radiant Shield are it's current caretakers.

As the sword used by the first Paladin, Sacra is held as a symbol of the might of the various Paladin orders found throughout Taeva.
