Chapter 3

More time in Ipth meeting elves: Dreah and Sahlon, who will be allies. Rosalia gains some information about the local politics and elvish rumours from the mercenaries’ guild. I gain memories of my apprentices (Tira and Alwen) sending me across the Barrier. We investigate the ruins of a Temple of Seasons and I meet with Sir Martin, a wretched human princeling. Still more memories of my Mistress - our last night together before rising to my own status, visiting my blood family for the first time since rising. And more dreams of Lyssa, visiting with the Empress and awarding Lyssa status in her own right and being gifted with memories of my own pedagogy.
