Chapter 15

I meet a fellow student of Magdalena and he shows us to his home, a city where magic and knowledge reigns superior over faith and religion. He lays out his theories of human religion (that the Beast represents ignorance kept at bay by either faith or knowledge). Within the city I meet a fae who is violently afraid of elves until we have a chance to speak and he describes songs he's heard of ancient wars between our people. He recognizes the cloak Magdalena has given me and is delighted to find that I am autumn, and a friend to the fae. After Solace we head to Council Rock with Amytri in tow. Upon meeting with Drakken again we find that Amytri is his (disappointed and concerned) father, and he encourages us leave while he convinces Drakken to abandon whatever plot he is making.
