in Volume 3We return to the Keep by way of the Shadowgate to find a thriving village, Tira, and Haze. She brings news of the war and tells us of the Kindred and her new alliances. I promise Camellia that no fae will ever sleep in the Forest of Nightmares and she agrees to take me to the Grove to show me where to guide lost fae. Lael arrives with his village, most of it lost to the Order. We send scouts to watch for the Severed and end up saving a few more from a human village. Ishvael tells us of the situation where the Severed are located (Peteran, their leader, hasn’t been seen. Now it is Lurick who is leading them).
