You Remember Me from Mystery

Auntie,   You remember me, right? Meeting you was like lightning and rain on the desert sand - I was stunned, didn't know how thirsty I was, and now you're already gone, leaving me in the bright sun, looking for your shade. I didn't miss Void as much when you were there - now neither of you are here. My heart has slipped into the rapids and the flow is turbulent and unsteady.   Charlotte is a lot like Belle, so much so that I find myself forgetting that she doesn't remember things like the time we cleared a ravine full of giant spiders and couldn't get webs out of our hair for days (I swear, it's funnier than it sounds) because that wasn't her and I... it was Belle and I. I'm used to telling people about things we did before in the past they may have forgotten, but this is different. Still, they're stories about her mother she never heard and she always asks for more.
