Work to Renelli

Friend,   Being a watchkeeper is not idle work but I understand.   This time we are fortunate (unfortunate) enough that I have magic for you to work on. Tira and I are indisposed and working on something to give us more time. This scroll was used to target only the summer fae in my Grove - the ones who are most vulnerable as they are barely a week from sleep. A colleague tells me that this magic must have been created after the Pruning (a war amongst many varieties of fae in which all but the widespread fae of seasons were slaughtered, my own included) and is compatible with human magic, though it was wielded by a dwarf.   I've enclosed Tira's notes and speculation on the intent of the curse perhaps being to target the trees beneath which these fae would go to sleep. I don't know why else someone would target only a particular season if not to speed up the transference to trees.   My notes are shoddy but there is also some work here on the structure of human magic. She wasn't with me when I visited but I have a human youngster who the trees claimed as fae and we had to purge her human bloodline to let it happen.   Let your mind stay open for help from the trees or from that fae who brought you there. If I am able to sleep (ha - what a thought!) I will ask my sister if any of her people are able to commune with you to help. It would be unusual for them to reach across the Dreaming but it has been so long that perhaps their traditions are willing to change.   Good luck,   Heiassa
