Visit to Trillium
Love,
I'm glad you'll stay.
I've had more time to think about our situation and please, don't go looking for more memories. I know it's hard - I would have done anything to rediscover myself when I first crossed over. Dal tells me he knew he shouldn't tell me more because it might shatter me before I had a chance to recover. I worry the same for you even though all of us are affected by this absence of memories.
Dovir sounds interesting - I have plenty of hesitance around the human religions. It is an interesting model for it to be so present but not necessarily a theocracy.
Nina and Torrick are marrying in the coming days and having their coronation. It will be the first time I crown someone...certainly not the last. Drognar is decked out and full of celebrants and merchants. It is the party we all need after this winter and series of attacks.
Much of this is just political work though...the summer fae have gone to sleep and some will wake as fae of day and night while others are remaining seasonal. About 200 of them were afflicted by a curse from one of my...fae uncles? One of Magdalena's brothers, I mean. It took some work but they recovered and all are fine. I met with one of the grand elders of Haze's clan and he extended an invitation for elven heroes to go to prove themselves to his clan and potentially rekindle the bond that once existed between our people.
Of course I will tell you as much of the story as you'd like, but I want to come collect you after the wedding. The dragons and I will be picking up some other people to send home and we'll need to stop in Ekrin, then Deldrin, then return to Dreamfall. I thought we might meet you in Ekrin and give you a chance to see off those who are departing. Charlotte is welcome too, of course. After that I'll need to make my way back towards the coast and further South - it would make me very happy if we could travel together for a time.
What do you think?
