Our families are difficult though - as much as we need each other we also need to stand alone more than we'd like.   I can send you back with the others if it's truly what you want. Caravel is going home and he would be a good person to show you around and reintroduce you to anyone you needed to meet.   But I urge you to take some time and think about it not just with your heart but with all of your mind and spirit. Your mother is so far away - she won't be back in the Capital for quite some time. If you find Doraal now I think it would weigh heavily on both of their hearts that duty drew her away when she could have been close. I know Charlotte would not hold it against you if you left but she is human - she may not be around when you are able to return (if you choose to come back to this side at all - the choice to reunite and then leave again is harder than leaving in the first place, this I know).   I can call on your affection for Charlotte easily and without guilt but it is hard to express how I would feel if you went home. You and I are all we have of them here. I want to save you the agony of making such a decision independently and simply tell you to stay because I need you here. Instead I will tell you that I want you to stay. I want to know I can reach you, even if it deprives you of your reunion for a while longer.   Take your time; enjoy the town.
