Damn it woman! Fine, show me your worth in how you shelter the youngest member of my family. The Divine Sword of Order are the sworn enemies of the Kindred and dragon kind. They're the leftover remnants of a Zephyr attempt to reclaim these mountains as their own. They're magically augmented Zephyr puppets who can increase their might by devouring others. How else such feeble beings challenge the might of even Elder Dragons?   70 years ago, Trillium came in search of the Kindred bringing stories of a horrible war, an ancient legend about Elves and Kindred fighting together, and a plea for help. She was given a chance to prove her sencerity in our war against the Divine Sword of Order. Ten years later, she captured the heart of my half brother Canyon Shade and gave birth to their son - Drifting Leaf Shadow. A few years later as the council debated her proposal, and the place of both her and her son in their clans, the Divine Sword struck, killing both my half brother and their son.   Trillium had given birth to a half dragon child. It allowed her ancestral spirit calling to summon the might of dragon ancestors. An Elf's body and mind are not meant for such things. She covered herself in blood and rage, completely lost to the fragments of will in the spirits she summoned - a wraith of hatred and power.   I severed her past to sever her connection to dragon spirits. The magic that stops you from remembering her also stops the spirits of vengeful dragons from re-attaching to her soul and drawing her back into the madness.   Now do you understand?
